Rasam is a vegetarian dish, an all time favorite light Indian Soup. It has all the excellent spices to make it nutritious and tasty. It blends very well with any other curries or simply just to have a hot cup of Rasam to keep you warm , heal your colds and  sooth your tummies. 

It is an easy dish to dish out with the  best quality of Gomez Spice spices 

RASAM POWER

 You Need

Ingredients: (pounded) - 10 shallots, 6 pieces garlic & 1 inch ginger.

(sliced) - 1 large tomato.

2 tablespoon cooking oil, 1000ml of water and salt to taste.

 

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS – 3 EASY STEPS

  1. Heat wok, pour oil, add Packet A, saute for 3 to 5 seconds. Add the pounded ingredients, saute (mid-way add salt to your preference), till shallots turn light brown.
  2. Add Packet B, give a quick stir (important note – don’t burn the spices), then add sliced tomato and 1000ml of water, stir well. Close lid and boil for 5 to 10 minutes (for extra spicy, you may add 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder).
  3. Once the RASAM is boiling, off stove, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

 

 

  1. 热锅,倒入适量的油再将调味料包A,倒入锅中快炒3-5秒钟. 加入捣碎的材料(中途可随各人口味加入食盐),翻炒红葱头至金黄色即可.
  2. 将调味料包B, 快炒(注意-不可把香料炒焦),加入切好的番茄片和1000ML的水,搅拌均匀. 再盖上锅盖煮5-10分钟(可加入一茶匙的黑胡椒增加辣味)
  3. 当RASAM已沸腾即可关火,加入香菜点缀即可


 

  1. Panaskan kuali, masukkan packet A, tumis dalam 5 saat. Masukkan bahan yang dah ditumbuk. Tumis semua bahan sampai bawang masak. (Boleh masukkan garam kalau nak)
  2. Masukkan packet B, gaulkan sedikit - jangan sampai bahan hangus. Masukkan tomato yang dipotong, 1000ml air dan gaul rata. Tutup kuali dan biar mendidih 5-10 min. Kalau nak pedas, masukkan satu sudu kecik serbuk lada hitam.
  3. Bila dah mendidih, matikan api, hiaskan dengan daun ketumbar.
